Age of Revolutions regularly organizes thematic roundtables/series on subjects ranging from how to teach the history of revolutions to histories of race and revolution. See the full list of our roundtables here. Our newest series is called “Art of Revolution.”
The arts are often sites of revolutionary performance, expression, and action. In this series, we are looking for submissions that explore the history of political revolution (broadly conceived) in a variety of artistic expressions (e.g. on canvas, city wall, stage, through song, …etc.).
Please submit your proposals through our submissions portal by September 30, 2021. Proposals should not exceed 100 words. Final articles should be between 1,000 and 1,500 words and will be expected by October 31, 2021. Basic parameters for articles can be found here.
