The 2021 conference of the Art Association of Australia & New Zealand will take place at the University of Sydney, 8-10 December 2021. The call for panel proposals is now open and are due by midnight, Friday 23 April 2021. Applications should be submitted at https://powerinstitute.submittable.com/.
The theme of the 2021 conference is ‘Impact’. AAANZ seeks proposals for panels that examine the term ‘impact’ in its relation to art, design, film, culture, society and politics. This includes the impact of history, colonialism, politics, technology, capital, nature, migration, and markets on art, design, film, and visual culture.
