The Darling Portrait Prize is a national prize for Australian portrait painting honouring the legacy of Mr L Gordon Darling AC CMG (1921-2015), who was instrumental in establishing the National Portrait Gallery of Australia.
Entries for the 2022 Darling Portrait Prize are now open for portraits completed on or after 1 July 2019. In 2022 the winner will receive $75,000 and will be exhibited with all the finalists at the National Portrait Gallery from 24 June until 9 October.
Entries close 11:59pm AEDT Monday 10 January 2022.
