Four short courses exploring the Greek, Roman and Byzantine world will be offered in January as part of the annual Hellenic Museum Summer School. The courses will be delivered at Melbourne’s heritage-listed Hellenic Museum and you can attend in person or participate online via Zoom. This summer’s courses are:
- The Ancient Adriatic: Trade, Colonisation and Conflict
- Understanding Greek Theatre like an Ancient Greek
- Architecture from Pagan Rome to Christianity
- At Home with the Greeks and Romans.
All courses will be presented by Dr Christopher Gribbin, a public historian and Adjunct Lecturer at La Trobe University, who is renowned for teaching in an entertaining and informative way. The courses are designed for people wanting to learn something new and for anyone wanting to build on their existing knowledge.
Dates: The Summer School will run from 10-14 January 2022. Everyone is welcome!
